The works of Frank Hoffmann are focussing on details and moments of the very world he lives in and makes his experiences, and are testifying to a strong and partly affectionate, partly ironic powers of observation.
And there is with the snapshot-like character a clear connection to film and photography - media, which plays a nearly that important part in the artistry of Frank Hoffmann as painting does.
